5 Day Cairo and Alexandria Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your private guide at the lobby to start your first day tour by visiting of Cairo. Head to Giza Pyramids where you will see one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; the great Khufu’s (Cheops) pyramid (2690 BC). Continue to explore the rest of the Giza plateau including the sight of Khafre’s pyramid – Khufu’s son, the second-largest pyramid on the Giza site, the Mecernes pyramid the smallest, and the famous Sphinx. Then proceed to one of our local restaurants to have your lunch. After that, you will proceed to the city of Sakkara, where you will be so excited to explore The Step Pyramid of King Djoser. This pyramid has a very nice story when King Djoser asked his chief Architect Imhotep to create something different so that the king could be buried. As a result, the well-known Architect created the Step pyramid, which surprised the king so much since it was considered to be a new achievement in this period. Finally, we will drive towards Memphis, where you can visit The Open Air Museum including the marvelous monuments of King Ramses II. After finishing your day tour, you will get back to your hotel in Cairo overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Grace Way Travel guide will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy a visit to the most interesting museum (the Egyptian Museum) which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Hyperlinks – Egypt History – Golden collection of Tutankhamun, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Lunch meal at one of our local restaurants. After Lunch, you will be transferred to the Old Cairo area, where you can visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, which played a very important role in protecting Egypt, as it was considered the seat of power for more than 700 years. Then proceed to one of the most interesting and old markets in Egypt, Khan El-Khalili, which is considered one of the stunning bazaars in the Middle East. Transfer back to your Cairo hotel room relaxing and preparing for another adventure in Egypt.

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. After that, you will be met with our tour guide who will be escorted in an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel towards Alexandria (about 3 – 3.30 Hrs. Driving) with your guide. discover the beauty and the Greco-Roman civilization within a day-tour starting with visiting the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa. After that go to visit The Roman Amphitheatre which is Located in the heart of Alexandria. Then, You will go to get a photo stop at (Qaitbey’s Citadel) which is considered one of the most important defensive strongholds, not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. you will be transferred to have your lunch meal at a local restaurant. We will end our amazing tour by visiting the Modern Alexandria Library. Then you will back to your hotel in Cairo to stay overnight. Meals included:
