Two Destination Tour 

Grace Way Travel, traces the footsteps of the Holy_Family across Egypt. You’ll begin in Cairo with visits to the iconic Giza Pyramids and key sites linked to the Holy Family, including Tel Basta, Sakha, and Samanoud. Explore historic monasteries in Wadi Natrun and visit significant religious sites in Cairo. The journey continues south to Minya and Assuit, where you’ll visit ancient churches and monasteries. The tour concludes in Cairo with a final day of exploration before departure. This journey provides a deep connection to Egypt’s rich spiritual and historical heritage.

Itinerary

Day 1:Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo international airport, our Grace Way travel representative will be waiting for you then you will be transferred by a deluxe vehicle to your hotel in Cairo to check in and stay overnight

Day 2: Cairo

Breakfast Included

After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your private guide in the lobby to start your first day of tour by visiting Cairo. Head to Giza Pyramids where you will see one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; the great Khufu’s (Cheops) pyramid (2690 BC). Continue to explore the rest of the Giza plateau including the sight of Khafre’s pyramid – Khufu’s son, the second-largest pyramid on the Giza site, the Mecernes pyramid the smallest, and the famous Sphinx. After finishing your day tour, you will return to your hotel in Cairo overnight.

Day 3: Tel Basta

Breakfast Included

After breakfast will start the trip Holy Family, you will depart to visit Tel Basta where Jesus gushed forth a spring of water to drink, you will visit the holy well, and then you will visit Belbeis, where the Holy Family rested in the shade of a tree at its place you there at Saint George Church which you will visit and the back to Cairo and Overnight.

Day 4: Sakha and Samanoud

Today we head to Sakha about 140 Km north of Cairo, there you will visit the Virgin Mary Church, also you will also see the footprint of Jesus Christ. Then transfer to Samanoud where the Holy Family crossed the Nile to the city of Samanoud inside the Delta, there you will visit Saint Abanoub Church (This church is located in the village of Samanoud, which is 8 km away from El-Mahalla El-Kubra. The church has gained great fame as the Holy Family stopped there during their journey and stayed in the church. The tools that the Virgin Mary used are still there until now). Lunch on your way then back to Cairo and Overnight.

Day 5: Tour to Wadi Natrun

Breakfast Included

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then start a trip to visit Wadi Natrun, Prized by the ancient Egyptians as a source of the salt deposit natron, a vital ingredient in the mummification process, this remote valley just west of the Delta region was later equally valued by the early Christians as a hiding place from persecution by the Romans. Initially, they sheltered in caves, later building monasteries, of which four remain today. Each monastery has a full complement of monks and three of the monasteries welcome visitors. Begin your trip with Deir al-Baramous then proceed to Deir Anba Bishoy whose body is still there then visit Abu Makar Monastery and end your trip with Deir El-Suryani. Lunch on your way then back to Cairo and Overnight.

Day 6: Cairo

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to Visit places that were visited by the Holy Family in Cairo and beyond. Travel to Mostord, where Jesus caused a water spring to flow. Proceed to Matarya where the Holy Mother washed clothes of visited the churches of Coptic Cairo, starting with the Hanging Church and Church of St.Sergius, Sunk below street level, this 5th-century church is Egypt’s oldest. Steps descend to a crypt where the Holy Family is supposed to have taken shelter. then continue to see the Church of St. George as well as the Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo her son, and from the water God caused a fragrant plant to grow, ‘Balsam”. Visit the Virgins Tree. Drive to ZEITOUN, and visit St. Mary’s church where she appeared – on April 1968. Proceed to OLD CAIRO where the Holy Family stayed in a cave for some time, which became a part of St. SERGIUS CHURCH.

Day 7: To Minya City- Gabal Al Teir

In the morning breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will meet your private guide at the lobby to depart to South Egypt to Enjoy the Holy Family trip to South Egypt, The Holy Family traveled in a boat on the Nile toward the south. Today you will transfer south to Minya City for about 4 hours. Arrive in Minya and we visit a Church beside the River at Gabal Al Teir (That is the cave where the holy family rested inside. It is situated now inside the Ancient Church there). Then transfer to your hotel in Minya City and overnight.

Day 8: To Assuit – Cairo

Today we continue south to Assuit City to visit Al Muharraq Monastery.

This Monastery was where the Holy Family stayed for 6 months and 10 days, the longest period spent at the same site. On this site, the holy family received the divine message to return to Palestine. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. then you will be transferred to Cairo, check in at your hotel, and stay overnight.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
